Baseball Camp Brings Fundamentals and Fellowship to Chandler
The Tyler Knockouts, leaders of the Cowboy Collegiate League, have set up a three‑day baseball camp at Winchester Park in Chandler, drawing youngsters eager to sharpen their game.
Camp sessions focus on core techniques such as sprinting to first base, pivoting toward second, and proper sliding mechanics, all under the guidance of experienced players and coaches.
Rhett Uselman, an outfielder for the Knockouts, stressed that the team’s first year has been defined by a commitment to give back to the community that supports them.
Zach Segovia, the club’s general manager, added that community involvement is woven into the organization’s mission, turning the camp into more than just a skills clinic.
Young participants like Ethan Weems and Beaux Broyles expressed enthusiasm for the instruction, noting that the drills have helped them gain confidence and improve their play.
