Pole Position and the Road Ahead
Tyler Reddick will lead the field at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after capturing the pole position in Saturday's qualifying session. He edged out Josh Berry by a mere 0.015 seconds, posting a lap speed of 131.094 miles per hour.
The achievement marks Reddick's fourth pole of the season and his fifteenth in NASCAR Cup Series history, underscoring his consistency on superspeedway layouts.
His previous pole victories have come at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Austin, Darlington Raceway and Kansas Speedway, and he has now started from the front spot seven times this year, the first since Charlotte in May.
The qualifying effort followed a challenging practice where his Toyota finished 31st in single‑lap runs and 26th in 10‑lap average speed, yet the team rallied to deliver a strong final run.
Behind him, William Byron of Hendrick Motorsports secured third, while Denny Hamlin of Joe Gibbs Racing took fourth and Shane van Gisbergen of Trackhouse Racing claimed fifth, setting up a competitive battle for the Chase.
The race will be televised at 2 p.m. Eastern Time on USA Network, with coverage also available on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
