Should the United States finish first in Group D, they will host their round‑of‑16 match on July 1 at 8 p.m. ET in Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California. A second‑place finish would set up a July 3 encounter at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, also at 2 p.m. ET. The path to the final therefore hinges on the team’s performance in those early fixtures.
