The U.S. Women’s National Sled Hockey Team is slated to begin its 2026 Frontier Series against Canada on April 10, marking the start of a three‑game showdown that will unfold in Ottawa, Ontario.
Frontier Series Set to Ignite Ottawa
Game one is scheduled for the evening of April 10 at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time at the Richcraft Sensplex, with the second match taking place the following afternoon on April 11 and the final contest set for Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. ET. All three contests are free to the public and will be streamed live on the Women’s Para Hockey of Canada YouTube channel.
Team USA enters the series boasting a flawless 6‑0‑0‑0 record in the Frontier Series, a testament to its dominance since the competition’s inception, and it has already captured three straight Women’s World Challenge titles from 2022 onward.
Adding to its résumé, the squad claimed the inaugural Women’s World Para Ice Hockey Championship gold medal in Dolny Kubin, Slovakia, last August, underscoring its status as a powerhouse in para ice hockey.
General manager Dan Brennan said he is thrilled to see his team take the ice against Canada, noting the excitement of competing in a high‑profile series that brings together the two nations’ strongest sled hockey programs.
With tickets free and the action available to anyone with an internet connection, the Frontier Series promises to broaden the sport’s reach while giving fans a rare opportunity to watch elite sled hockey without financial barriers.
