UAC Basketball Tournaments Set for a New Chapter in Allen, Texas
The United Athletic Conference (UAC) has confirmed that the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas will serve as the host venue for its Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments beginning with the 2026‑27 season. The decision marks a significant expansion for the conference, which now counts Eastern Kentucky University among its members.
The 7,000‑plus seat arena, which welcomes more than 100 events each year, is projected to generate a $13 million economic boost for the Allen community. Its reputation as a vibrant hub within the Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex, combined with a diverse array of amenities, made it the obvious choice for the conference.
Scheduled to run from March 10 through March 14, 2027, the tournament will feature a full slate of games across both divisions. Organizers say detailed brackets and broadcast plans will be released in the coming weeks, promising a high‑profile showcase for student‑athletes and fans alike.
