The 2026 men’s soccer campaign for UC San Diego got off to a roaring start with a 7‑0 victory over Navy that marked the team’s most goals in more than two decades and handed the Mids their worst loss in over a century.
Building on that performance, the Tritons embark on a road trip that begins on August 27 at Houston Christian and continues on August 30 at the Air Force Academy. Both matches will be streamed online, requiring a subscription for viewers.
Coach and captains Nic Thiele, Keenai Braun and Nate Morgan are guiding a roster that blends returning starters with a wave of new talent, including transfers Oren Stuppel and Sean McTague, who have already begun to make an impact.
