A major catalyst for the unit’s revival is Alonza Barnett III, a transfer from James Madison University. Barnett brings a prolific passing résumé, having thrown for 5,400 yards and 49 touchdowns over the past two seasons while guiding the Dukes to a College Football Playoff appearance.
