Commitments Arrive Ahead of December Signing Period
UCF football has added two more pieces to its 2027 recruiting class, as both Omari St. Fort and Dontallis Render announced their verbal pledges to the university this week.
St. Fort, a running back from Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Florida, revealed his decision on social media after completing an official visit to Orlando, joining a class that already boasts seven committed prospects.
The 6‑foot‑1‑inch, 205‑pound back finished his junior season with 798 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, a performance that helped him attract nearly 20 scholarship offers from programs across the country.
Render, an edge rusher out of Vero Beach, also chose UCF after a campus visit, bringing a different set of credentials: 29 tackles and 3.5 sacks for loss in his sophomore campaign, along with eight total offers including interest from Boston College and Syracuse.
Both players are ranked as the sixth and seventh commitments in the cycle, pushing the Knights' national ranking to 76th and securing the 16th spot within the Big 12 conference.
While these verbal commitments are non‑binding, they are expected to solidify into official letters of intent during the December signing window, a timeline that mirrors recent commitments from other recruits such as Noah Robinson and Jamal Robinson Jr.
The influx of talent reflects UCF's continued strategy of targeting high‑school standouts who can make an immediate impact, a approach that has kept the program competitive in a crowded recruiting landscape.
What This Means for the Knights' Future
Adding St. Fort and Render not only bolsters the depth chart but also signals UCF's intent to remain a magnet for top Florida prospects. Their commitments are likely to influence other recruits still weighing their options, potentially reshaping the class dynamics before the December deadline.
Coaches at UCF are already drawing connections between the new commits and the program's recent successes, suggesting that the momentum could translate into higher rankings in the next national evaluations.
