Filip Jovic, who spent last season at Auburn, averaged 6.3 points and 4.0 rebounds across 37 appearances. His size and rebounding instincts are expected to bolster UCLA’s interior play, especially in games where the team faces stronger post opponents.
Sergej Macura, a junior from Mississippi State, enters with two seasons of eligibility remaining. In his most recent campaign he recorded 5.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 28 games, showcasing a balanced contribution that complements the team’s perimeter defense.
Jaylen Petty arrives from Texas Tech, where as a freshman he posted 9.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 33 games. He shot 41 percent from the field and 37 percent from three‑point range, numbers that suggest a reliable scoring threat from the wing.
Azazriel Robinson, who began his collegiate career at Butler, averaged 6.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists before a left wrist injury cut his season short in early February. Despite the setback, his 47 percent field‑goal shooting and 43 percent three‑point accuracy highlight a potent shooting skill set.
The additions join incoming freshmen Javonte Floyd and Joe Philon, who are expected to provide further depth and future growth for the program.
