As the Bruins gear up for the 2026‑27 campaign, the offseason has taken on the rhythm of a laboratory where every drill is measured against the standards set by Coach Mick Cronin.
The roster retains a core that proved its mettle last year, with Eric Dailey Jr., Trent Perry, Xavier Booker, Brandon Williams and Eric Freeny all returning to give the team continuity and depth.

Their 3‑point percentage of 37.9% ranked second in the conference behind Purdue’s 38.3%.
Tyler Bilodeau emerged as the Big Ten’s most prolific long‑range shooter, hitting 46.4% from beyond the arc and capping the year with a 43rd‑overall selection by the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA Draft. His performance eclipses the previous single‑season high set by David Singleton in 2020‑21.
With the summer workouts now in full swing, the Bruins are not only refining their shooting mechanics but also building chemistry that could translate into a deeper postseason run. The blend of veteran savvy and fresh ambition sets the stage for a promising future.
