UConn’s men’s soccer program announced its 2026 schedule on Monday, outlining an 18‑game campaign that opens with a home matchup against Syracuse on August 20. The full slate features 12 contests at Ray Reid Field inside Joseph J. Morrone Stadium, setting the stage for a busy fall.
The announcement comes on the heels of a breakthrough 2025 season in which the Huskies posted a 12‑5‑4 record, secured the program’s highest win total since 2018 and earned an at‑large berth to the NCAA Tournament, landing a No. 13 overall seed. Under fifth‑year head coach Chris Gbandi, the team posted its third consecutive winning campaign.
Morrone Stadium will serve as the hub for the non‑conference portion, hosting games against Western Michigan, Siena, Bryant, Fairfield, Brown, Fisher College and Sacred Heart before the Huskies finish the out‑of‑conference stretch with road trips to UMass and Harvard.
A challenging non‑conference slate
Conference play begins on September 18 when Seton Hall visits Morrone Stadium, and the Huskies will also welcome DePaul, Providence and Georgetown at home. Road trips to St. John’s, Villanova, Marquette and Xavier round out the BIG EAST schedule.
With a blend of tough non‑conference opponents and a full league slate, the 2026 campaign aims to build on the momentum generated by last year’s historic NCAA Tournament run and push the program toward its next milestone.
