UH Football Secures Nationwide Broadcast Deal for 2026 Season

Seven games will air on major networks, with the Mountain West championship slated for FOX

A landmark broadcast agreement

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa revealed this week that seven of its upcoming football games will be carried across national television networks in 2026, marking a significant expansion of the program’s visibility and bringing the Rainbow Warriors into living rooms across the country.

The season opener is set for August 29 against Stanford, kicking off at 1 p.m. Hawaii time on the ACC Network, a slot that will also be rebroadcast on the conference’s streaming arm.

Subsequent matchups include a September 5 showdown with UNLV on The CW at 4 p.m. HST, a September 26 contest at Wyoming on The CW at 9 a.m. HST, and a home game against New Mexico on October 17, which will be shown on FOX with a time to be determined.

Additional road games against UTEP, North Dakota State and Nevada will also find homes on The CW or FOX, while the Mountain West Football Championship Game is scheduled for December 4 on FOX, ensuring the conference title receives a prime‑time slot.

Four of the seven contests will stream on MW+, the Mountain West Conference’s dedicated platform, giving fans an additional avenue to follow the Rainbow Warriors.

Local broadcast details for the streaming games and the road trip to Arizona State will be announced in the coming weeks, allowing viewers to plan their viewing schedules.

Broadcast partners and platforms

The arrangement reflects a collaborative effort between the university, its athletic department and a suite of media partners that include The CW, FOX Networks, the ACC Network and the Mountain West Conference, each bringing its own audience and production expertise to the table.

Fans can expect high‑quality coverage, on‑air promos and behind‑the‑scenes content that will deepen engagement with the team throughout the season.
