Key Matchups to Watch
In Class 6A Division I, the spotlight falls on a showdown between Katy and Summer Creek, a pair of powerhouse programs that have dominated their respective districts. The matchup is slated for a yet‑to‑be‑announced date, with the venue also pending confirmation.
Class 6A Division II will feature a three‑day series between Tomball and Tyler Legacy at McLennan Community College in Waco. Games are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, giving fans ample opportunity to catch the action on the field.
Region III’s other marquee series pits Memorial against Tompkins at Rice University. The three‑day stretch, also set for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, will showcase a clash of rising talents from the Houston suburbs.
The 5A bracket includes a tentative clash between Lake Creek and Victoria East, with the specific date still pending. Meanwhile, in the 5A Division II bracket, Kingwood Park will meet Port Neches‑Groves on Friday and Saturday, again at a location to be determined.
