UMass Lowell’s men’s soccer program is gearing up for the 2026 season under the steady guidance of Head Coach Kyle Zenoni, who has announced the addition of fifteen new players to the squad.

The incoming class blends fresh talent straight out of high school with experienced juniors, creating a dynamic that Zenoni believes will elevate the team’s overall competitiveness.
Among the newcomers, defender Jeremy Mahn arrives from Frankfurt, Germany, bringing a European pedigree to the back line, while goalkeeper Isai Jimenez, a native of Morganton, North Carolina, offers a hometown presence between the posts.
The junior forwards — Justin Godbout‑Garon from Québec City, Canada; Kanata Takahashi from Hyogo, Japan; Adam Abdelaal of Orlando, Florida; and Yiftah Harari of Tel Aviv, Israel — add depth and versatility in attack.
Midfield reinforcements include Fredrik Moen of Sarpsborg, Norway; Marinho Oldenburg from Utrecht, Netherlands; and Archie Wisdom hailing from Brisbane, Australia, each expected to influence the team’s tempo.
Defensive additions such as Louis Dufraiche of Pluherlin, France; Jonah Straube from Frankfurt, Germany; and Sho Kinjo of Nara, Japan, bolster the squad’s defensive options, while goalkeepers Moritz Aé of Leipzig, Germany, and Eijin Magota of Tokyo, Japan, compete for minutes.
The coaching staff also acknowledges the loss of former goalkeeper Toby Forsythe, who passed away over the summer, a reminder of the program’s deep connections and the continuity of its culture.
Zenoni emphasizes that the new players will contribute whether they start or come off the bench, and that the existing returners have already sparked a healthy rivalry that should translate into stronger performances on the field.
