UNC Asheville’s men’s soccer team has once again been recognized for its commitment to academic excellence, capturing the 2025‑26 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 11th time in program history.
The honor marks the first such accolade for head coach Danny Frid, who took the helm of the Bulldogs just weeks before the award was announced.
During the 2025‑26 academic year the squad maintained a collective grade point average of 3.49, underscoring the balance between rigorous scholarship and competitive play.

The Bulldogs are now turning their focus to the upcoming 2026 season, with the first match scheduled for August 20 against Northern Kentucky at Greenwood Field. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m., and the game will be streamed live online.
