Jake Schaffner added a .354 average, 75 hits and 24 stolen bases, and Walker McDuffie, the team’s closer, recorded five saves and 73 strikeouts.
Veteran arms Ryan Lynch (4‑4, 4.32 ERA, 68 strikeouts) and catcher Macon Winslow (.307 average, nine homers, 51 RBI) round out a lineup that also features Gavin Gallaher, who smashed 11 home runs, making him one of two Tar Heels with double‑digit homers.
