UNF Women’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule Aiming to Build on Historic 2025 Run

Eight non-conference and ten ASUN matches set for upcoming season, with key road trips and home fixtures

The University of North Florida Women's Soccer program unveiled its 2026 schedule on Thursday, promising a demanding slate of 18 matches that includes eight non‑conference fixtures and ten contests within the ASUN Conference.

The upcoming season is seen as a chance to build on the historic 2025 campaign, when the team advanced to the ASUN Championship Final for the first time in program history.

Head Coach Eric Faulconer said he is eager to see the squad respond to the challenge, noting that the schedule blends home‑field familiarity with testing road environments.

Fourteen of the 18 games will be played in‑state, with eight at Hodges Stadium and ten away from home, giving the Ospreys a strong regional presence.

The preseason exhibition against Florida Atlantic is set for August 5, followed by a season‑opening road test at Georgia Southern on August 12, then matches versus FIU on August 23 and the College of Charleston on August 27.

September will feature a three‑match road swing at Alabama A&M, Jacksonville State and UCF, before the team returns home to close non‑conference play against Kennesaw State on September 17.

The ASUN has been reshaped to include eight institutions, and North Florida opens conference play at home against Bellarmine on September 24, a rematch of last year’s championship final against Lipscomb on September 27.

October brings the longest road stretch of the season, with visits to West Florida, Queens, Florida Gulf Coast and Stetson, the latter marking the first meeting between the programs at the Division I level.

A three‑match homestand in October will host Jacksonville, Stetson and Florida Gulf Coast, and the regular season will wrap up with a rematch at Jacksonville on October 31.

The 2026 ASUN Women's Soccer Championship is scheduled for November 5‑13, with matches held at the campuses of the top‑seeded teams.
