The University of New Hampshire announced that 21 members of its men's hockey team have been selected for the Hockey East All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 season, a distinction that requires a minimum 3.0 GPA across all semesters.
Among those honorees, senior goaltender Jared Whale stood out by achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA, earning the conference's Top Scholar Athlete award and also being named to the Academic All-Star Team.
The recognition extends beyond Whale, with junior forward Jason Siedem securing a spot on the All-Academic Team for the third consecutive year, while sophomore defensemen Ryan MacPherson and Josh Player, along with junior Nick Ring and senior Kristaps Skrastins, have been honored twice.

Several newcomers, including freshmen and sophomores, also earned their first selections, reflecting the program's ability to blend incoming talent with seasoned scholars.
