UNH Men's Soccer Welcomes Graduate Forward Ethan Vermillion
The University of New Hampshire announced the addition of graduate student forward Ethan Vermillion, a native of Frankfort, Kentucky, to its men's soccer roster for the upcoming season. Vermillion, who brings a blend of Division I experience and a proven attacking mindset, joins the Wildcats after a distinguished high school career that saw him net 57 goals and 35 assists at Frankfort High School.
During his tenure at IU Indy, Vermillion appeared in 40 matches, starting 30 of them, and contributed four goals and three assists while earning recognition as the Attacking Player of the Year with Kings Hammer. His consistent performances earned him First Team All‑State honors in 2021 and Second Team All‑State in 2020, as well as the 2021 Team MVP and the 2017 Newcomer of the Year awards.
Vermillion’s high school squad captured back‑to‑back District Championships in 2020 and 2021, underscoring his ability to thrive in competitive environments. The graduate student is expected to bolster the Wildcats’ offensive options and add depth to a program seeking to build on recent successes.

Coach Rich Weinrebe highlighted the strategic value of Vermillion’s skill set, noting that his experience at the collegiate level and his proven goal‑scoring record align with the team’s ambitions to enhance its attacking prowess.
