The scoring opened in the third minute when Nathan Harriel slipped a low strike past the Necaxa keeper, giving the Union an early foothold. Just nine minutes later, Bruno Damiani’s precise pass found Harriel again, doubling the lead and settling the home side into a comfortable rhythm.
Cavan Sullivan extended the advantage after the break, striking in the 53rd minute after a period of sustained pressure. His 26 touches throughout the match highlighted his growing influence and contributed to the Union’s control of possession.
