The University at Albany has unveiled its 2026 women’s soccer schedule, a 16‑match lineup that blends home‑field advantage with a demanding road circuit.
The season kicks off on August 16 with a showdown against Boston University, setting the tone for a campaign that will feature seven non‑conference battles alongside nine contests on the familiar turf of Casey Stadium.
Home supporters can look forward to matches against familiar foes, including Boston University, Quinnipiac, Stonehill, Le Moyne and Stony Brook, while the team will also host games at the state‑of‑the‑art Bob Ford Field.
Travel will take the Great Danes to Siena and Central Connecticut State, adding regional rivals to the mix and testing the squad’s resilience across the Northeast.
Coach Sade Ayinde expressed enthusiasm for the slate, noting that the blend of conference and non‑conference opponents will sharpen the team’s tactical versatility as it prepares for the America East playoffs.
The America East postseason begins on November 5, with quarterfinal action on the schedule, and all playoff games will be streamed live on ESPN+, giving fans unprecedented access to the tournament.
