University of Hartford Field Hockey Announces 2026 Schedule

Season opener set for September 2 as Hawks target first postseason berth

The University of Hartford’s field hockey program announced its 2026 schedule on Wednesday, outlining a 18‑game campaign that features ten contests at Al‑Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium.

A challenging schedule ahead

The slate includes eleven non‑conference opponents drawn from five different leagues, and the team will meet eight opponents that posted winning records in 2025, four of which belong to the Conference of New England.

The season opens on September 2 with a home game against Springfield College, and the first conference matchup arrives on September 11 at Nichols College, scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.

A week later, on September 19, the Hawks host their first home conference game against Endicott College at noon, marking the beginning of a series of league contests.

Head Coach Rhonwen Peters said the program is eager to test itself against strong competition, noting that the challenging schedule is designed to prepare the team for its first postseason appearance in school history.

All home games will be streamed live on the CNE Network powered by HUDL, giving fans throughout the region an opportunity to follow the action.
