A Free Clinic for the Next Generation
The University of Hawaii’s men’s basketball program is set to bring its fifth annual youth basketball clinic to the island of Kauai this summer.
Scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, the free event will take place in the gymnasium of Kauai High School, offering a hands‑on experience for boys and girls who have completed sixth grade or are younger.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. on the day of the clinic, with the instructional workshop running from 9 a.m. until noon, giving participants a focused three‑hour session of drills, skill development and game play.
While walk‑in sign‑ups will be accepted, early registrants can secure their spot by emailing teddypamarroyo@gmail.com, a contact point highlighted by the organizers to streamline the process.
The clinic is open to boys and girls in sixth grade and under, and admission is free, providing an accessible opportunity for young athletes across the island.
