Two‑hour clinic and public practice open to community on July 23

July 23 Youth Basketball Camp at Sandpoint High School

The University of Idaho men's basketball program will host a co‑ed youth camp at Sandpoint High School on July 23, opening its doors to boys and girls from second through eighth grade.

The two‑hour clinic will be run by the Vandals coaching staff and current players, who will guide participants through fundamental drills, shooting techniques and team concepts.

Following the clinic, the Vandals will take over the gym for a public practice, allowing anyone in the community to watch the team in action; admission is free.

Sandpoint High School boys basketball coach Will Love said the camp provides a rare chance for young athletes in Bonner County to learn from Division I talent and sharpen their game.

The camp carries a $40 fee, and interested families can register by contacting University of Idaho assistant coach Luke Chavez at [email protected]
