The National Association of Basketball Coaches has once again placed the University of Idaho’s men’s basketball team on its Honors Court, marking the third consecutive year the program has earned the distinction for academic excellence during the 2025‑26 academic year.
During the fall semester the Vandals posted a program‑record 3.43 team GPA, with 15 players achieving a 3.0 or higher, and maintained a 3.21 GPA in the spring term, underscoring a sustained commitment to scholarship.
Head coach Alex Pribble, now in his third season, emphasized that success on the court is inseparable from achievement in the classroom, noting that the team’s culture is built around balancing rigorous academics with competitive athletics.
Nine members of the 25‑26 roster were recognized individually by the NABC, joining a distinguished list that includes Aidan Sevilla, Biko Johnson, Brody Rowbury, Isaiah Brickner, Kristian Gonzalez, Miles Klapper, Seth Joba, Titus Yearout and Tyler Linhardt.
A Legacy of Academic Distinction
The Vandals have appeared on the Honors Court four times in program history, with three of those honors arriving under Pribble’s leadership, reflecting a sustained emphasis on scholarly performance that complements the team’s on‑court ambitions.
University officials praised the team’s holistic approach to student‑athlete development, stating that the recognition reinforces the institution’s broader mission of cultivating well‑rounded leaders.
