The University of New Mexico has finalized its 2026 men’s soccer schedule, a slate that blends home comforts with challenging road trips across the western United States.
Opening Home Stretch
The season opens on August 20 with a home match against Northern Arizona, followed by contests versus Gonzaga on August 23 and Cal State Northridge on August 30, giving the Lobos a strong start on their own turf.
What makes the schedule especially intriguing are the first meetings that will punctuate the season: the first home encounter with Northern Arizona since 2023, a reunion with Gonzaga not seen in Albuquerque since 1995, and the first home game against Cal State Northridge since 2009.
Early September will take the team on the road, with matches at Colorado’s Boulder campus, a trip to Greeley to meet Northern Colorado, and a showdown with New Mexico State.
Home Finale and Overall Count
The non‑conference campaign concludes with home games against Utah Tech on September 17 and Idaho State on September 20, rounding out a season that will feature ten home matches in total.
