The University of South Dakota has unveiled its full slate of games for the 2026‑27 Summit League men’s basketball season, a schedule that blends early road challenges with a mid‑season surge of home contests.
Opening the Campaign on the Road
The Coyotes will begin the year with two consecutive away games, first at Oral Roberts and then at Kansas City, setting a competitive tone for the opening stretch.
Following the initial road swing, the team returns to Vermillion for a trio of home matchups against South Dakota State, North Dakota and North Dakota State during the second and third weeks of conference play, giving fans a chance to see the squad in familiar surroundings early on.
Mid‑Season Travels
The second half of the schedule takes the team on the road to several venues, including Omaha, St. Thomas, and a return trip to South Dakota State, North Dakota State and North Dakota, before the regular season wraps up with home games against St. Thomas and Omaha.
Athletic director Jane Doe highlighted the balanced approach of the schedule, noting that the mix of opponents and venues is designed to test the team’s depth while providing ample opportunities for growth.
