A New Chapter for UWF Basketball
The University of West Florida has unveiled its 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule, marking the program’s inaugural season in NCAA Division I.
The slate blends home and road contests, highlighted by a marquee matchup against Navy and other regional rivals that will take the team to major cities across the Southeast.
Athletic Director Dave Scott pointed to recent upgrades at the UWF Field House, including courtside seating, new LED scorer’s tables and an on‑court projection system designed to enrich the game‑day experience.
Season tickets are available for $200 and grant admission to every UWF men’s and women’s basketball home game, offering fans a cost‑effective way to follow the team throughout the year.
Supporters can also join the Argonaut Athletic Club, where a $250 annual gift provides the Argonaut Game Pass, delivering general admission to all home contests except football.
Tanner Smith, a key figure in the program’s development, echoed Scott’s enthusiasm, emphasizing that the combination of competitive scheduling and upgraded facilities will help build a strong and engaged fan base.
