The University of Wyoming has unveiled its 2026 women's soccer schedule, a 19‑match slate that blends non‑conference road trips with a full slate of Mountain West contests. The announcement was made on Wednesday, outlining the full calendar that will see the Cowgirls compete across the western United States.
The season begins with an exhibition match against Denver on August 9 in Laramie, followed by the regular‑season opener at home against Drake on August 13. Both games mark the first opportunities for the new coaching staff to assess the roster before the grind of conference play.
Non‑conference home fixtures include matches against Weber State, South Carolina and South Dakota, providing a varied slate of opponents early in the campaign. On the road, the team will travel to face Northern Colorado, Gonzaga, Montana and Colorado State, testing the squad against a range of playing styles.
Mountain West Conference Play
Mountain West competition opens with two road games at Nevada and UC Davis before the conference opener returns to Laramie against San Jose State on October 7. The schedule balances travel and home dates, aiming to keep the team competitive throughout the league portion of the season.
The Mountain West Conference Tournament is slated for November 12‑15, featuring the top four teams from the regular season. The event will serve as a culmination of the league schedule and a chance for the Cowgirls to earn a postseason berth.
