CBS Sports Network, The CW, ESPNU and ESPN will also share the broadcast load, ensuring that fans across the country can follow UNLV’s early schedule. The network lineup was disclosed in a recent announcement that underscores the growing visibility of the program.
Over the past three seasons the Rebels have compiled a 30‑win stretch and reached three straight Mountain West championship games, establishing themselves as a consistent contender. Analysts now project UNLV and New Mexico as the two favorites to capture the league title, with the former also viewed as a top candidate for the 12‑team College Football Playoff.
Broadcast Partners and Upcoming Slots
Six of UNLV’s games will appear on CBS Sports Network, including matchups versus Cal, Air Force, Northern Illinois, Wyoming, San Jose State and the in‑state rivalry with UNR. The CW, the new Mountain West television partner, will air three contests — against Hawai'i, North Dakota State and New Mexico — bringing the total number of televised games to twelve.
Additional dates on the national stage include a September 12 road test at North Texas, which will be shown on ESPNU, and a September 26 trip to Akron, slated for an ESPN broadcast. Each of these slots reflects the conference’s strategy to spread exposure across multiple networks.
