University of Nevada, Las Vegas has unveiled its men’s basketball schedule for the 2026‑27 season, a slate that blends a rigorous non‑conference slate with an 18‑game Mountain West Conference campaign.
Exhibition Matchups
Before the regular season begins on November 3, UNLV will test itself against a trio of high‑profile opponents — Utah and BYU from the Big 12, plus Missouri from the SEC — in exhibition contests that promise early insight into the team’s chemistry.
The Rebels will also meet Stanford, a fellow Pac‑12 program, as part of a broader non‑conference lineup that includes additional matchups against teams that performed strongly in the 2025‑26 season.
All of these games will be staged at the Thomas & Mack Center, Michelob ULTRA Arena and Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, giving fans multiple venues to experience the action.
Conference Battle
The Mountain West schedule features an 18‑game slate, with UNLV slated to host home‑and‑home series against nine league members, including Air Force, Grand Canyon, New Mexico, San Jose State, Wyoming and others.
Coach Josh Pastner has crafted the schedule to expose the team to a variety of playing styles, preparing the Rebels for a conference that is expected to be among the most competitive in recent memory.
Returning standouts Tyrin Jones and Issac Williamson, who earned accolades in the 2025‑26 season, will be joined by a fresh crop of newcomers, giving the roster depth and versatility.
The regular season opens on November 3 with home games against Northern Arizona, Samford and Stanford at the Thomas & Mack Center, setting the tone for a schedule that blends early challenges with later opportunities.
Later in the year, the Rebels will travel to San Francisco and San Diego State, compete in the Jack Jones Classic against Washington State, and face a rotating slate of powerhouses such as Kansas, West Virginia, Auburn, Houston, Rutgers, Florida and Notre Dame, many of whom participated in last season’s NCAA or NIT tournaments.
