A New Generation of Talent
USA Baseball has revealed a 50‑player roster that will compete in the 2026 13U/14U Athlete Development Program, a week‑long camp set for early August in Cary, North Carolina.
The camp, held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex from August 1 through August 4, will blend on‑field drills, team exercises and classroom seminars designed to sharpen both skill and character.
Camp Structure and Evaluation
Participants will take part in head‑to‑head games while also attending off‑field educational sessions that cover topics ranging from sportsmanship to academic planning. Coaches will use these activities to assess each player’s readiness for future national team consideration.
Coaching Leadership
The staff includes veteran coordinators RJ Farrell, a five‑time national‑team coach, and former Major League outfielder Eric Crozier, who will oversee hitting instruction. Jeff Feltman, USA Baseball’s Assistant Director of Baseball Operations, expressed excitement about the selected athletes and the opportunities the program provides.
Among the selected athletes, seventeen have already tasted international success with a 12U National Team, and twenty‑seven earned their spots through the 2024 and 2025 National Team Championships and the NTIS Champions Cup.
The roster reflects a national footprint, with representatives from twenty‑one states; California leads with eleven players, followed by Florida and Texas.
Notable reunions include seven members of the 2025 WBSC U‑12 World Cup championship squad, including MVP Christopher Chikodroff, who returns alongside Jack Carson, Russell McGee, Duncan Mount, Jake Romero, Jaxon Spray and Kristian Valadez.
The coaching cadre also features five former professionals and two additional former Major Leaguers, bringing a combined record of six state championship titles and over one hundred future Division I athletes.
With a blend of experience and fresh energy, the 2026 ADP aims to cement the pipeline that has produced countless college prospects and national team standouts.
