USA Baseball has announced a 64‑player roster for the 2026 15U National Team Training Camp, a talent‑rich gathering that will take place August 6‑9 at the National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina. The camp serves as the opening phase of a two‑stage selection process, with Phase 2 scheduled for September 16‑18 to trim the field to 32 athletes.
A Pathway to International Competition
Those who advance will travel to Mérida, Mexico, where the final 20‑player United States squad will compete in the WBSC U‑15 Baseball World Cup from September 25 through October 4. The tournament will test the mettle of the selected team against international rivals, and the rigorous evaluation at the Cary camp will determine which players earn the coveted spots on the final roster.
Among the participants are twelve members of the 2023 World Cup‑winning 12U National Team, including Miles Lockridge, Joshua Park, Clayton Ratliff and Carlo Rivero, who helped the team capture gold at the WBSC Americas Qualifier last year. Their experience adds a competitive edge to the in‑trasquad scrimmages, PDP Performance Assessments and player‑development sessions that will be overseen by coaches Casey Scott and Drew Briese, the same staff that guided the 2023 gold‑medal side.
California leads the geographic spread with sixteen athletes, while Alabama and Arizona each contribute six players. Overall, twenty‑eight of the camp participants have previously engaged in USA Baseball’s national team development programming, underscoring the camp’s role as a proving ground for the nation’s next generation of stars such as Micah Delos Reyes, Tyler Early, Kingston George and Greyson Wuis.
The camp will feature competitive drills, intrasquad scrimmages and performance assessments designed to showcase each player’s abilities under the guidance of experienced coaches. The final 20‑player roster will be announced after Phase 2, setting the stage for the World Cup appearance in Mexico.
