A renewed partnership fuels field hockey growth
USA Field Hockey announced today that it has renewed its sponsorship agreement with WRAPPIT WRAPPIT, a female‑owned brand that specializes in field hockey chamois overwraps and custom team programs. The deal, first signed in 2024, will continue to provide exclusive savings on WRAPPIT WRAPPIT products to USA Field Hockey members through their online accounts and the In The Circle app.
The renewal was highlighted during a virtual press event where Sarah Kocmond, founder of WRAPPIT WRAPPIT and chair of the USA Field Hockey Foundation Board of Trustees, spoke about the shared vision of expanding participation in the sport. Kocmond emphasized that every sponsor plays a role in growing the game, especially with the upcoming LA28 Olympics on the horizon.
Ginger Wheerer, USA Field Hockey’s Commercial Partnership Manager, praised Kocmond’s leadership, noting that her lifelong experience as a player and her work on the foundation board bring a unique perspective to the partnership. Wheerer said the renewed agreement will help support athletes, clubs, coaches, officials and families across the United States.
Discounts for members
USA Field Hockey members can now access a 25 percent discount on WRAPPIT WRAPPIT products via their member account and the In The Circle app, a move designed to make high‑quality equipment more accessible as the sport’s grassroots programs expand.
The partnership also ties into broader initiatives to develop talent at the grassroots level, with both organizations pledging resources to community clubs and youth programs. Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States, where USA Field Hockey is headquartered, will serve as a hub for these efforts, while Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, will host upcoming training camps that benefit from the new sponsorship.
