A Summer of Opportunity
USA Hockey is set to kick off its 2026 National Player Development Camps on June 25, marking the start of a season‑long series of events that will run throughout the summer. The camps are designed to accelerate player development and serve as key evaluation platforms for international teams.
Across the country, separate camps will host boys and girls in age‑specific groups. The Boys National 16 camp will be held in Amherst, New York, from June 25 to July 1, while the Boys National 17 Festival follows in the same town from July 7 to 13. Additional sessions in Amherst will include the Boys National 15 camp from July 15 to 21. In Oxford, Ohio, the Girls National U19 Training Camp runs July 13‑16, with the Girls National 16/17 Development Camp (July 13‑18) and the Girls National 15 camp (July 19‑24) shortly after. The Under‑18 Women’s National Festival will conclude the summer schedule in Lake Placid, New York, from August 2‑9.
All games from these camps will be streamed live on USAHockeyTV.com, giving fans, coaches and scouts real‑time access to the action. The digital broadcast aims to broaden visibility for emerging talent and to provide a seamless experience for viewers across time zones.
Standout participants will earn invitations to prestigious international tournaments, including the Under‑17 Four Nations Tournament and the Hlinka Gretzky Cup. These competitions serve as the next step in the pathway for players aspiring to represent their countries on the world stage.
Beyond the on‑ice benefits, the camps foster cultural exchange and networking among coaches, scouts and prospects from diverse regions. As the 2026 summer unfolds, USA Hockey’s development initiatives are poised to shape the next generation of talent for international competition.
