The United States will soon unveil its full 2026‑27 promotional calendar, a slate that promises magnet schedules, team‑poster giveaways and a series of special events designed to engage fans across the country.
A packed calendar for USA Hockey’s youth programs
According to the release, the U.S. will host 30 United States Hockey League contests at the USA Hockey Arena, while an identical number will be played on the road. The under‑18 squad is slated to conduct 17 home games, highlighted by the ‘Play with Purpose’ Charity Hockey Game scheduled for September 12, and the under‑17 team will contest 14 home fixtures, opening its season against the Tri‑City Storm on October 9‑10.
The under‑18 team will also take part in the Kroger College Series, meeting Boston College, Bowling Green, Michigan, Trine and Maryville, and will travel to Denver to face the defending NCAA champions. The regular season will kick off at the USHL Fall Classic in Chicago from September 16‑20, where the team will open its campaign against a strong field.
Meanwhile, the under‑17 side is set to compete in the World Under‑17 Hockey Challenge in Oakville, Ontario, from November 1‑7, and will later journey to Vierumäki, Finland for the Vierumäki Cup (December 6‑13) before heading to Sweden for the Five Nations Tournament (February 7‑14).
The under‑18 team’s international itinerary includes a trip to Switzerland for the Under‑18 Five Nations Tournament (November 1‑8), a defense of its title at the CHL‑USA Prospects Challenge in Chicoutimi and Quebec City (December 1‑2), and a later visit to Czechia for another Five Nations Tournament (February 7‑14).
The under‑17 schedule will begin with games against the NAHL’s Anchorage Wolverines in Anchorage, Alaska, on September 11‑12, marking the start of a busy season that stretches across North America and abroad.
