USD Bolsters Football Operations with New Director
The University of South Dakota has named Kyle Keeton as its new director of player personnel and NFL liaison, effective for the 2026 season. Keeton will oversee recruitment strategies and serve as the primary point of contact between the football program and professional scouting networks.
Head coach Matt Vitzthum highlighted Keeton's extensive background in talent acquisition, noting that his proven track record at Northern Illinois University positions the program for continued growth. Keeton, who holds a bachelor's degree in mathematical statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a master's in sport management from Northern Illinois, brings a unique blend of analytical and operational skills.
