Honoring Service on the Court
The University of South Florida men's basketball team is set to travel to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, for the 13th edition of the Veterans Classic, where they will meet St. Joseph's on November 11, 2026.
The tournament pairs the Bulls with the Hawks alongside Penn and Navy, and it is designed to honor the nation's veterans while giving visitors a behind‑the‑scenes look at the academy through guided tours and a lunch with midshipmen.
Both matchups will be aired live on CBS Sports Network, bringing the pageantry of the event to a national audience and highlighting the intersection of sports and service.
This year's edition arrives as USF embarks on a new era under head coach Chris Mack, who has assembled a roster bolstered by 12 transfer portal additions and three high‑school signees, including a quartet of players rated at .9100 or higher.
The Bulls' recent history includes a 75‑62 victory over St. Joseph's in 2022, and they will look to extend that edge as they prepare for a non‑conference slate that also features games at DePaul, Dayton and a home contest against Kennesaw State.
Tickets for the Veterans Classic will go on sale later this year, with reserved seating priced at $40 and general admission at $25, offering fans an affordable way to experience the ceremony and the surrounding activities.
