The University of South Florida’s football program is entering a pivotal 2024 campaign, as a wave of fresh talent and a reshaped coaching staff promise a markedly different offensive identity. A New Coaching Era
At the forefront of the transformation are former Ohio State assistants Brian Hartline and Tim Beck, who have taken on the roles of offensive coordinator and co‑ordinator respectively. Hartline, who previously coordinated the Buckeyes’ high‑octane attack, emphasizes a philosophy that “runs through” defenders, while Beck adds a focus on physical dominance and the ability to shift seamlessly between the ground and the air.

The new scheme is built around nine debutants in the starting lineup, a mix that includes speedy playmakers and power‑run backs, all designed to exploit mismatches and sustain offensive momentum. Returning standouts such as Alvon Isaac and Chase Garnett will share the backfield with newcomers D.J.
