2026 Schedule Unveiled
The University of Texas at Tyler has released its 2026 men’s soccer schedule, marking the start of a new chapter for a program that has become a staple of the Lone Star Conference.
Head coach Kenny Jones enters his 25th year with the Patriots, a milestone that underscores the stability and continuity of the program’s leadership.
The season opens on the road against Dallas Baptist University on August 27, and the Patriots will return home for their first match on September 5 against Rogers State, a game that will be part of a series of promotional events.
September will feature a four‑match road trip, testing the team against a diverse set of opponents before conference play begins on September 23 with another encounter versus DBU.
The regular season concludes on October 28 with a visit to the University of Texas at Dallas, setting the stage for the Lone Star Conference Tournament scheduled for October 31 through November 6, followed by NCAA Championship play beginning on November 12.
A Season of Milestones
The 2025 campaign ended with an 8‑8‑3 record, highlighted by the team’s first Lone Star Tournament victory and a semifinal appearance, and the Patriots posted a 4‑2‑2 record at Citizens 1st Bank‑Perkins Soccer Complex.
Building on that foundation, the program looks to continue its upward trajectory, leveraging experience and community support as it prepares for the upcoming challenges.
