More than two hundred youngsters from across Utah gathered at The Ballpark at America First Square this weekend for a youth baseball clinic that blended instruction with excitement.
Miller Sports and Entertainment, a group dedicated to linking local athletes with community programs, organized the event, providing a platform for the next generation of players to experience professional‑level coaching.
Coaching from the Pros
Salt Lake Bees stars Caden Dana, Houston Harding, Arol Vera and Yolmer Sanchez led the clinic, moving from station to station to demonstrate hitting, fielding and base‑running techniques.
The players worked directly with the children, offering encouragement, signing autographs, posing for photos and sharing smiles that turned the drills into memorable moments.
Fundamentals and Fun
Each skills station was designed to teach core baseball concepts while keeping the atmosphere light and engaging, ensuring that participants walked away with both knowledge and enthusiasm.
Beyond the on‑field instruction, the clinic emphasized teamwork, sportsmanship and the joy of the game, values that organizers hope will stay with the kids long after they leave the diamond.
Looking Ahead
Miller Sports and Entertainment plans to expand similar programs throughout the state, aiming to give more Utah youth the chance to learn from professional athletes and develop a lifelong love of baseball.
