The Utah Mammoth have unveiled a major overhaul of their coaching staff, signaling a commitment to building on recent success.
Coach André Tourigny and assistant Blaine Forsythe each signed new multi‑year contracts, locking in the leadership that guided the club to a 43‑33‑6 record and a playoff appearance.
The organization also announced the hiring of Adam Foote, a former Vancouver Canucks bench boss, who was dismissed on May 19 after a short tenure with the Arizona Coyotes.
General manager Bill Armstrong praised the trio, stating that their combined experience and hockey acumen position the team for continued growth.
Under Tourigny’s direction, the Mammoth finished the 2025‑26 campaign with a respectable 43‑33‑6 slate, earning a postseason berth and generating optimism among fans.
A Coaching Legacy in the Making
Tourigny first arrived in the NHL with the Arizona Coyotes in 2021, where he earned a three‑year extension the following year. His early success in Arizona caught the attention of Utah’s front office, leading to his recruitment and the subsequent contract renewal.
Looking Forward
With the new coaching arrangement in place, the Mammoth aim to translate their regular‑season momentum into deeper playoff runs. The front office believes that the blend of stability and fresh perspective will be pivotal as the franchise seeks to cement its place in the Western Conference.
