UTRGV’s athletics department has rolled out a limited‑time ‘Helmets to Hoops’ campaign that bundles basketball season tickets with an exclusive presale for football tickets.
Fans who secure their basketball tickets by Aug. 21 will unlock a presale window for bulk football tickets that opens on Aug. 23, allowing them to purchase up to five single‑game football tickets per home game.
The discount runs through Aug. 22, with General Admission priced at $115, Reserved Sections A, D and H at $150, Reserved Sections B, C, G at $205, and a Family Four‑Pack available for $400.
A New Era of Competition
The 2026‑27 basketball slate features 29 contests, kicking off with a doubleheader on Nov. 2 and including road trips to face Prairie View A&M, as well as matchups against top‑ranked North Dakota State and Abilene Christian.
The momentum behind the program is underscored by recent historic performances: the women’s team recorded its first postseason road win and advanced to the second round of the Women’s National Invitational Tournament, while the men posted 14 conference victories and back‑to‑back winning seasons for the first time since 1988‑90.
Tickets can be purchased through UTRGVTickets.com or by contacting the UTRGV Ticket Office, giving supporters a straightforward path to join the excitement.
