The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley announced its complete 2026 men’s soccer schedule on Thursday afternoon, setting the stage for the program’s first year in the Ohio Valley Conference. The season opens on the road, with the team traveling to face West Florida on August 15 before returning home for its first official match against Stetson on August 23. Both games mark the beginning of a campaign that will test the squad’s depth early on.
Conference play is slated to commence on September 26, when the Vaqueros host Lindenwood at their home venue. The schedule then unfolds with a series of road and home fixtures, including a highly anticipated matchup against Western Illinois on October 24, which will serve as the team’s final home appearance of the regular season.
The regular season will conclude on November 1 with an away contest at Houston Christian, rounding out a demanding slate that blends non‑conference and conference opponents.
