A New Fan Experience
The University of Texas at San Antonio has opened the EA Sports College Football 27 Dynasty Challenge, inviting supporters to step into the role of the Roadrunners and guide them through a full season of virtual play. Participants must select UTSA as their team in Dynasty Mode and strive to lead the program to the College Football Playoff National Championship.
To enter, fans must be at least 18 years old and complete the UTSA Dynasty Challenge Submission Form. The entry requires several pieces of evidence, including screenshots of the National Championship Trophy, the Final Schedule, the College Football Playoff Bracket and a Dynasty Summary. An optional gameplay moment and a short video documenting the championship journey may also be shared.
Social media promotion is encouraged: entries must tag @UTSAFTBL and @UTSAAthletics and use the hashtag #UTSADynastyChallenge. The competition runs alongside the real‑world schedule, where the Roadrunners open their 16th season on Saturday, September 5, with a kickoff at 2:30 p.m. in the Alamodome against UTRGV.
The season will feature a mix of home and away matchups, with UTSA hosting Colorado State, South Florida, Navy, North Texas and Tulsa, while traveling to Texas State, Texas, Rice, Tulane, Florida Atlantic and UAB. Ticket information is available at goUTSA.com/tickets or through the UTSA Ticket Office, giving fans the chance to attend the games in person and support the team on the field.
Beyond the digital competition, the challenge offers an exclusive UTSA Football experience and additional prizes for winners. By blending virtual achievement with real‑world school spirit, the Dynasty Challenge aims to deepen fan engagement and celebrate the Roadrunners’ growing football program.
