Fans will have the chance to register for press conferences, pose for photos and meet the players and coaches who will be featured throughout the event, creating a unique blend of media access and community engagement.
UTSA’s Road to the Spotlight
The University of Texas at San Antonio will be represented by head coach Jeff Traylor, quarterback Owen McCown and linebacker Owen Pewee, underscoring the program’s growing national visibility.
Veteran administrator Tim Pernetti also appears in the lineup, adding depth to the Roadrunners’ delegation.
Live coverage of the kickoff will stream on ESPN+ on July 24, with UTSA’s segment scheduled for 8:40 a.m. Eastern Time, giving viewers a front‑row view of the team’s early‑season excitement.
The Roadrunners open their 16th season on September 5 against UTRGV before traveling to face Colorado State, South Florida, Navy, North Texas and Tulsa, while also hosting Texas State, Texas, Rice, Tulane, Florida Atlantic and UAB later in the year.
