The University of West Florida announced its full slate of games for the 2026‑27 men’s basketball campaign, a schedule that marks the program’s inaugural year in NCAA Division I.
The first home test will come on December 13, when the Argonauts host the U.S. Naval Academy, a matchup that pits the school against one of the nation’s most storied programs.
To accommodate the heightened expectations, the school has unveiled a series of upgrades to the UWF Field House, promising a more vibrant game‑day atmosphere for fans.
A new era for UWF basketball
Season tickets are now on sale for $200, granting access to both the men’s and women’s home contests, while membership in the Argonaut Athletic Club, priced at $250 annually, adds the Argonaut Game Pass for general admission to most home games.
The non‑conference slate features a diverse set of opponents, from Southeastern Baptist on November 2 to Florida International in Miami on November 6, and a home game against Baptist University on November 9.
Later in the season the team will travel to Alabama A&M, face Wisconsin Green Bay, and take on South Alabama in Mobile, among several other road trips that will test the roster.
Conference play begins in January, with matchups against North Florida, Jacksonville, and Florida Gulf Coast, culminating in a home game against Eastern Kentucky on New Year’s Eve.
Head coach Dave Scott and assistant Tanner Smith have been busy finalizing lineups, and both expressed optimism that the schedule will provide the team with the right mix of challenges as they adjust to Division I competition.
