Valparaiso University Unveils New 2026‑27 Basketball Season‑Ticket Pricing and Payment Options

Revised structures for men’s and women’s programs aim to boost affordability and fan engagement ahead of the upcoming season.

A fresh approach to season tickets

Valparaiso University has revealed a comprehensive overhaul of its men’s and women’s basketball season‑ticket offerings for the 2026‑27 campaign, signaling a strategic push to make game‑day experiences more accessible while reinforcing fan loyalty.

For the men’s side, ticket tiers remain unchanged, with prices spanning $170 to $650. In addition, a new bleacher mezzanine option has been introduced at the $170 price point, giving supporters a mid‑level view at the same entry cost.

Women’s basketball will see a notable price reduction. General admission tickets are now $75, while youth tickets for children are priced at $30, a move designed to broaden the program’s appeal across families.

The university also introduced the Beacon Bonus, a promotional voucher that doubles the number of purchased tickets for a single game, providing an extra incentive for early commitment.

To further ease the financial burden, interest‑free payment plans are now available, allowing fans to spread the cost over up to four months without accruing additional fees.

Renewals, sales and roster outlook

Season‑ticket renewals for both programs go on sale June 15, with general public sales commencing July 15. This schedule gives returning patrons priority access before the broader market opens.

Beyond pricing, the athletic department highlighted the continuity of the coaching staff. Head coach Roger Powell Jr. recently signed a multi‑year contract extension, underscoring the program’s stability. The men’s roster will feature a strong returning core complemented by new additions, while the women’s team will showcase returning players Maci Rhoades and Allia von Schlegell alongside fresh talent.

University officials expressed confidence that the revised structures will not only enhance affordability but also deepen community engagement, positioning Valparaiso basketball for an exciting season ahead.
