The division leverages USA Network, Fandango and CNBC to deepen its sports rights portfolio after the NBCUniversal spin‑off

Versant’s USA Sports eyes a broader live‑sports footprint

Versant’s United States sports arm is charting an aggressive expansion, adding six Premier League fixtures and a suite of marquee Bundesliga encounters to its broadcast slate.

The centerpiece will be the clash between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, slated for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Eastern, while the rest of the package spreads across Friday through the following Monday, excluding Tottenham Hotspur.

New Premier League and Bundesliga slots

The newly secured agreements bring a total of six Premier League matches into the schedule, complementing seven fresh live‑sports rights that were sealed after the spin‑off from NBCUniversal, including WNBA and League One Volleyball.

Among the Bundesliga rights, the iconic Dortmund‑Bayern rivalry will air on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET, forming part of a broader portfolio that now exceeds 60 % live sports or news on paid‑channel programming.

Leveraging multiple platforms

Distribution will be split between USA Network, which will air 30 exclusive Bundesliga matches, and the streaming service Fandango, which will carry the remaining 270‑plus Bundesliga contests as well as the broader Premier League schedule.

CNBC also features in the rollout, with plans to showcase select live events, while Versant continues to explore additional sports rights for Fandango to further broaden its offering.
