Vicksburg Post Announces 2026 All-County Baseball Honorees

St. Aloysius star Keller Bradley earns Player of the Year as Warren Central’s Randy Broome repeats as Coach of the Year

A Season of Stars in Warren County

The Vicksburg Post has unveiled its 2026 All-County baseball team, recognizing the county’s top 17 athletes from Warren Central, Vicksburg High, St. Aloysius and Porter’s Chapel Academy. The honor, announced at the close of the high school sports season, celebrates both individual brilliance and team success across the region.

St. Aloysius senior Keller Bradley emerged as the 2026 Player of the Year, becoming the first player from his school to receive the accolade since 2021. Bradley posted a .398 batting average, hit nine doubles, five triples and two home runs, scored 38 runs, stole 33 bases and drove in 15. On the mound he struck out 80 batters in 42 ⅓ innings with a 2.65 ERA, ranking third best among county pitchers with at least 20 innings.

Warren Central’s Randy Broome was named Coach of the Year for the third time in four seasons after guiding the Vikings to a 19‑12‑1 record and a second‑round finish in the MHSAA Class 6A playoffs. Under his leadership the team captured the MHSAA Region 2‑6A championship for the fourth straight year, extending a league‑winning streak to 24 games.

The recognition underscores the depth of talent in Warren County’s baseball programs and sets a high bar for the upcoming seasons. With standout players like Bradley and a coaching staff led by Broome, the area’s teams are poised to remain competitive on both the regional and state stages.
